Bald Eagle doesn't mean "bald", as many people believe. The name comes from an Old English word, "balde", which means "white". The Bald Eagle is the white-headed eagle!

Because of their large size - the wingspan can easily reach 2.5 metres - and the fierce look in their eyes, Bald Eagles have always inspired strenght, dignity and freedom.
